We listened to John McGinnis, Sheriff of Sacramento County (Retired), on KFBK on October 21, 2011, while driving home from Reno where my wife and I had spent the night at the Silver Legacy and thoroughly enjoyed the J. J. Ramirez Comedy Show as we celebrated her 69th birthday. McGinnis relayed data from a study that demonstrated the superiority of California Charter Schools versus California Public Schools. The information was staggering, but it only went to prove what parents have been telling the Legislature of the State of California and the State Department of Education for 40 years, which is: there are to many disfunctional state mandates forced upon the public school systems in our cities and towns. McGinnis, like every other politically orientated member of the "Insiders Club" in California who enjoys misrepresentation of facts to promote socialism, states one of the reasons of the failure of education in the state are teacher unions. Every voter, every parent, every school worker knows that school line employees are union members because the Legislature of the State of California passed a law, that our current governor, Jerry Brown, signed as the Dills Act bill in 1978, while he was govenor of California, mandating that employees of the State of California were required to become union members. The State of Califonia mandated a "closed shop" union, meaning union membership was a mandate, not an option, and that condition still exists to this day. Establishing unions was a great way for the state legislature, judges, governor and all state employed executives and managers kept getting raises to stay ahead of the line employee salaries with a plentiful retirement. The school teachers unions do not legislate the stupid, ignorant and "holier than thou" self serving State Legislature with self defeating policies forced on city schools by the State Department of Education. Teachers are expected to accept mediocre salaries and spend a portion of that salary for school supplies for their students because the state refuses to adeqately fund school supplies. The state takes our personal, city, county and state education funds and then parcels it back to our schools in a manner designed to keep the money in the state treasury so legislature and their hundreds of departments, boards and committees can use the money as they please. As Californian "main street" we voters know we didn't submit any legislation or policy that is keeping their children from being taught in a proper manner or given intelligent course matter. The California Court System is responsible for a huge part in "dumbing down America". Court decisions that struck down school conduct discipline or exclusion, put individuals before the majority and gave money to offenders, which is an understood reason why there are so many more offenders taking advantage of the misgoverning of education. It is as though California government is trying to buy votes and support by supporting millions of undeserving people. Many successful people advocate that Americans must remove elected officials and their appointed minion's who are career politicians and/or do their work orientated toward companies who will pay for legislation. It's not that California doesn't put huge amounts of money into education, it is that the money is syphoned away from the students to pay salaries to members of boards, departments and other regulatory oversite of education. We Californian's will get back to good education when schools are left alone to function properly and monitored by the public, not the government.

I sent the following letter to the newspapers in our two neighboring towns as our small city, does not have a newspaper. The date and content are unchanged, although I did delete my address. Two months have passed by. Check the pinpoint accuracy of the Swine Flu comments and aggressive advertising.
Now that figures are coming out, all people can see American citizens are being fleeced. You and I are going to be paying around $450.00 a month to over $700.00 for federal health care. That's from our net pay. Business America has figured out how to get rid of a huge expense to their businesses. If big business stragitists control congress and the president and they can shift medical insurance from their expenses of employee total compensation (your pay including vacation, medical, holidays, sick time, ect.) to the 
employees who are forced to buy their own insurance by government law, huge patient costs and huge businss profits are a given.President Obama has claimed $500,000,000.00 in Medicare fraud per year. Have you ever heard of him instructing the U. S. Attorney General (who serves at the presidents pleasure) to investigate and prosecute anybody? This talk about fraud is a farce as it is dreamed up to promote displeasure in existing medical care so congress and the president can sell America for personal wealth and political gain. Government could fix current medical care discrepancies, but that would not be profitable for them. We, the people, are in a serious situation. The current congress and president have already legisltaively taken a huge amount of control of this nation. Just trying to elect new people into the system will not rescue us. What are we going to have to do so that the "main street" people of this nation set the standards?

President Barrack Obama has made it clear he was going to make major changes in federal government and create a federal health care plan. Don’t forget this is a collective U.S. “representative” action. The world’s largest consumer and spender is the United States government. When a group can band together and force the United States government to spend huge amounts of money to health care providers and they can appoint who the providers will be, there are profits so huge it takes a millionaire to conceive the wealth. While President Obama advertises a federal health plan and financial bliss on a daily basis, his crew of Pelosi and friends are refining bills that will grab as much government power as possible and pave their own health-care-for-profit highway. Is there a congressman with his election committee associates starting not-for-profit health care organizations? Which senator awarded her husband’s company a multi-million dollar non-bid contract, Feinstein, Boxer or Pelosi? Or do those issues matter to us who are paying the federal bills. Padding of Medicare charges is not news to Medicare patients. Obama says he is going to redirect padding money for a federal health care program. Not likely, he and company are cashing in on it. The publicized dollar figures are huge and you can see it’s only for the select few. “Public Option” means federal health care freeze out of existing medical providers. President Obama’s State Of Emergency Declaration on the Swine Flu, announced Saturday 10/24/09, is simply a continuation of aggressive advertising for federal health care. Please review the ongoing news releases since President Obama visited Mexico City. The current medical provision system can be fixed, but must not be destroyed. Help the needy, but leave the rest of us alone. Forget not the people who betray you. Writer their names down and save your list in your socks drawer.
I am proposing that we fire every person in congress that voted for the unwritten National Health Care Plan. Check the "Government" link and let's get organized. Vote them out.
It is time to organize a strong ballot measure to reduce the California State Legislature salaries to less that $80,000.00 in total compensation. Go to the "Government" link for developing plans.
